Inspire Saint James

Inspire's website was rebuilt in Craft CMS - quite honestly our favourite content management system. It's the logic that makes it so superb.

The website displays so many examples of logic, but perhaps the two most featuresome areas are the sermons and events sections.

SERMONS

The sermons section has lots of in-built relationships. Sermons are integrally associated with the preacher and the series they belong to. Click on the preacher and you get to see all the sermons they've preached. Click on the series and you get to see the rest of the sermons in the same series. Everything's been built beautifully, like the way you can add a YouTube by one of the numerous ways YouTube links are formatted and the page will programatically figure out how to display it.

EVENTS

Events are a JSON feed supplied by ChurchSuite. Instead of formatting it in the way ChurchSuite normally does, both the main events page and the individual event pages take that ChurchSuite feed and output the content in a way that matches the rest of the Inspire website.
